Grew up emmersed in MEAT MARKET, My dad is ALLEN KOSOFSKY, my GRANDAD , BEN KOSOFSKY, the OWNERS SINCE 1919 of "INTERSTATE POULTRY CORP" 445 West 13th St. NY, NY. Grandpa Ben and his five brothers started INTERSTATE in early 1900's, my dad Allen, had the drive and ambition to talk Grandpa into buying out all of his brother's so just "OUR" family would own it! Starting getting up at midnight when I was just a little girl ! I started working on West 13th St, when I was like 6 years old!, My Dad;s Slogan was...... "SELL THEM OR SMELL THEM!" HOW TRUE,,,hahaha! Now 40 years later I I have raised my family in Miami, Fl, and now I'm back in the "MEAT MARKET" but since my DAD sold "INTERSTATE POULTRY" to his competition when he turned 80, I now work for my long time friends, "MASTER PURVEYORS, INC. , " THE FINEST MEAT SUPPLIES IN THE NORTHEAST!!! WE ARE LOCATED IN THE HUNTS POINT INDUSTRIAL PARK at 355 FOOD CENTER DRIVE, UNIT B !4, I work for Sam Solasz, who had known my Grandpa and Dad for over 60 YEARS, well Grandpa till he passed in 1974! It is a pleasure to work for an organization with a reputation that is pristine!
