I was born in the Midwest, migrateed to Califoria in 1948. Had a 37 year ccareer in Banking, traveled extensively in Europe & N. Africa & the Carribean, as well as the USA & Canada & Mexico. I have taken several cooking courses in French cooking & Chinese cooking. I love Thai Food & prepare it often. I also love Italian food & enjoyed my trips to Italy immensely. I particularly love & enjoy preparing Middle Eastern cuisine, as well as Thai.

I keep foreign students for the local colleges (I am retired from the financial world & enjoy my home & my little Shih Tzu doggie. I have a large lot, much too large, but enjoy the weather so much here in the So. San Francisco Bay area that I wouuld be loath to leave.

One of my main joys in life has been cooking. I have a family, (daughter & grandkids) that are "cooking fools" LOL! A visit to their homes is a cooking marathon of almost any cuisne under the sun. I am enjoying iFOODTV and the variety of cuisines & cooks represented here.
