About Travel Infected Diseases video
Video DescriptionAlong with planning their winter vacation, most people have to be reminded about protecting their health while away. The most common ailments that affect travelers include food and waterborne diseases, particularly from contaminated water and poorly prepared foods.
You spend a huge amount on your travel, take a little time to take precautions for keeping good health while travelling. Or else instead of enjoying your vacation you might have to spend time at the hospital or be restricted to your hotel room.

Great reminder! It is surprising how many just shrug about getting up to date on innoculations for overseas travel. I see tourists munching on unpeeled fruits and using street vendor ice in drinks-bet they spend half of their vacation in their rooms close to the bathrooms. Many Americans are unaware of a resurgence of polio in some areas of the world-adults need an update/booster for polio. Also some areas typhoid is a real health concern. In Seim Reap where we visited last Dec there had been over 600 deaths from this day-time munching mosquito carried illness. Better to be safe than sorry and ruin your holiday..................or your life. Shanti/Mary-Anne
