Freaked me out. People in Hong Knong eat almost anything right from bugs to insects to crawlies. They have quite an appetite for almost anything. Tourists tread carefully.Comments

They are just live small shrimp. Sometimes they place them in cognac and let them "marinate" themselves then set the bowl on fire. Tastes great.
For a minute I thought it was bugs or gerubs like the stirfry in Thailand. Hey anything deepfried served with chile tastes good. Grubs are crunchy, so are the grasshoppers, but I won't eat the juicy sticky water bugs.
