Love mushrooms-simply a favourite. I buy several varities every week.
I do buy porcinis and morels mainly dry here in California. Crimins are my favourite non-exoctic mushrooms. Love fresh straw mushrooms but not available fresh here, but so special in Thailand. King mushrooms have become popular here at Asian markets and even at Costco. They are good for some dishes. Enokis are great as garnish and in salads.
I hate canned mushrooms.
I have thought of growing my own mushrooms using the logs, but so easy to buy them.
There are some markets here that carry maybe 2 dozen or more varities especially in the Fall-mushroom season.
