How to Eat Healthy at a Restaurant Buffet video

Video Description

While eating out at restaurants and buffets is certainly fun and tasty, they're not exactly the best for folks following a healthy bodybuilding diet plan. Many restaurant and buffet food items are packed with high calories, high fat, high sugar, high sodium, and all of those continue to add up when you pile on the food and go back for seconds, thirds, forths, etc...

Although it can be a challenge, eating healthfully at a buffet is certainly within reach and well worth the effort. All you have to do is look for the food items that most closely fit with your planned diet plan (i.e. lean protein, green veggies, fresh fruit, clean complex carbs, etc.) Try to minimize things that are cooked in heavy sauces, creams, gravies, covered in cheese, etc.

And if you are going to indulge in something "Not So Healthy" then team up with someone and split the serving in half. Very often when myself and Trish want some dessert we'll get one serving and 2 forks. This will still help satisfy your cravings while instantly cutting the fat, sugar, and calories in half.
