The Difference Between Broth and Stock video

Video Description

Making a broth or stock is always easy. The main difference between a broth and a stock is that broth is added to soups or side dishes to add flavor that don’t have a strong flavor on their own whereas, a stock is mostly used as a base for gravy or sauce. Find out when to use broth and when to use stock on this lesson of Grocery School.

Thanks for clarifying! Good video. So far, the few Grocery School videos I've seen are great at teaching a point quickly and well. It might be important to add that when looking for bouillon or meat paste, watch out for monosodium glutimate (MSG.) So many people are either allergic or sensitive to it that many Chinese restaurants (the cuisine that has used it the most) are now advertising "MSG free" on their menus.
