I'm with you MA if the fresh ones don't look good I go for the tubed ones. They're not great but work in a pinch. I like the idea of the frozen ones - but like you said Steve there's nothing like fresh. I'm pretty far north here in Florida but we can grow just about any herbs here. I don't but Tina is full of them. When I'm out I usually run over to her house and grab what I need. She has more basil than any one person should have, thyme, oregano, sage, rosemary, mint and a hand full of others I can't think of. I've been thinking about setting up a hydroponic herb garden here in the house but haven't committed to it yet... :) Nikko

I like the ones in the tube if I am out of fresh (from the garden or store). The only herbs I can't grow year round are the basil family Thai and Italian, oh and cilantro. Rosemary, marjoran, chives, parsley, oregano, lemongrass, bai magroot/Thai Kaffir Lime leaves, etc. grow all year. Tarragon is touch and go dependingg on the year. I haven't tried growing dill, but should, and the mints do great as does sage unless we get acold zap from Alaska and we get frost. Love having fresh erbs. I am sure Nikko can grow all of the herbs year round down in Daytona. Shanti/Mary-Anne
