Burmese Pickled Fruits video

Video Description

Sour green fruits tossed with salt, liquorice, chilli and ginger are a popular snack in Burma, used by students as a kind of Red Bull/Pro Plus for staying awake during revision time for exams.

Pickle sellers bang small gongs as they push their carts along ("naong! naong!") to let people know they're coming.
