Special garlicky, soy-beany rice noodles with pickles and pork peculiar to Mandalay, Burma (Myanmar).
This is pretty much my favourite dish ever. Before Oriental goods were widespread in the UK, my mum used to make this with spaghetti and chicken. I like it either way.
By the way, the opening credits are spelt wrong (it should say Meeshay and not Meeshei) and my dad is too lazy to re-edit ...
