It has now moved as Mary Ann said to the Bronx in a very non appealing area to your regular consumers. But if you are looking for the freshest fish this is the place to go. If and when you go watch yourself !!

Great video! Really enjoyed this kudos to the first fish market in the US! Very educational. This video was filmed prior to the move to it's present location near the Brooklyn Bridge.
For those that haven't been to the Fulton Fish Market is a fish market in New York. It was originally a wing of the Fulton Market, established in 1822 to sell a variety of foodstuffs and produce. In the latter part of 2005, the Fulton Fish Market relocated to a new facility in Hunts Point from its historic location near the Brooklyn Bridge along the East River waterfront at and above Fulton Street in Lower Manhattan, New York City.
It serves both the wholesale and home cooks alike. It is one of the last, and most significant, of the great wholesale food markets of New York. It survived major fires in 1835, 1845, 1918, and 1995, and the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.
