Acid can really destroy teeth! Our grand daughter, Tiffiny had cavaties in her baby teeth and yet their water has flurinated, and she brushes several times a day. The dentist then asked the big question-does she drink juices? Yes especially orange juice-aha the culprit. They gave her orange juice instead of soda, and she ddn't eat candy and sweets. They stopped the juice and viola no more cavities in her new teeth! My daughter-in-law is a nurse and is keen on on healthy foods for her children and felt that she was giving her daughter healthy drinks-fruit juices without sugar. This is now a big problem for many kids and adults as well.
