Video DescriptionAn interesting look at how Vegetarianism is becoming prevalant in schools.
A vegetarian diet is a choice for environmental protection. It is a choice for love and health. Emma, manager at Columbia restaurant shares the idea about vegetarian restaurants. She says that no meat is cooked in the vegetarian kitchen.
A lot of people are turning into vegetarians because they love their environment and animals.
In Taiwan, in a school, two days in a month are considered as complete vegan days and the teachers and students of that school eat complete vegetarian lunch on these two days. For the betterment of health, the school has hired professionals. Nearly 3000 people of their whole school are having lunch and due to the consideration of budget and funding, they finally came up with the decision of having a nutritionist of their own.
This nutritionist designs the diet plan for the school lunches with hopes to instill correct eating habits with in the children. This habit eventually cut down the liking of meat by the children and they started showing proper growth both mentally and physically.
They also try varieties of food in their lunch. For this, they have varieties of fruits, soy products, and vegetables in their diet.
Also, the children in the school are not provided processed foods rather they depend on the natural ones.
