No matter what, always make time for your girlfriends, they are always there for you when you need them, whether it's for a few laughs or a few tears, girlfriends are like sisters!

Living out of the U.S. makes it hard to be with family, a thirteen hour flight puts me at the front door of my parents home, so my girlfriends have become family.

I just recently had a get together with some of the girls and it was fabulous! We had food, fun, of course wine and a lot of laughs.

It was an easy get-together that I am passing on to you! You can whip a fun evening that will keep the girls coming back for more.

What we did:

My girlfriend K- made some pizza dough before we arrived and purchased various pizza toppings, Italian salame, Buffalo Mozzerella Cheese, mushrooms, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, peppers and some basil.

We all rolled out our own individual pizza while sipping on some local red wine and popped it into the oven. After it cooked a bit (15 minutes) we took the crust out and put all the toppings on it that we each liked, then back in the oven for another 15 minutes. It was a staggered process, so each pie came out at different times. We cut each pie up and shared while the others were cooking.

Living in Naples, Italy, I am constantly presented with the current trends and styles in both fashion and food. So while I was sipping on one of the latest Fave drinks at a bar in downtown Naples, I decided to try my hand at the fashion part.

Oh and here is the recipe for that Amazing drink that I was sipping on when I was struck with inspiration!!!

Bellini

Mix one peach that has been pureed and 4-6 oz of champagne in a fluted glass.

Tamara's Kitchen TipsI discovered a great way to store my lettuce without it rotting away on me within a couple days.

The first time that I tasted Fresh Ricotta, known as Ricotta Fresca in Italian, my tongue fell in love!

Tamara's Kitchen Tips  A White Wine Glass will be slightly elongated and have a small opening, it is made in this way because white wine is meant to be served chilled. The small opening helps to keep the wine cool.A Red Wine Glass will be round and have a large opening. The opening allows the Red wine to breathe, creating a fuller taste.

If a recipe calls for buttermilk here's a quick substitution that's cheap and healthier for you!

Add 1 Tbsp of Lemon Juice to a cup of milk. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes and Presto!

You are in business.

Check out my recipe for "How to Make the Best Italian Cappuccino!"

Here are the photos of the Italian Cafe maker and the milk steamer for making a cappuccino. The are good investments and rival any of those $1000s of dollar machines out there for under $50 bucks.
