Dhoni WeddingDhoni Wedding Menu, the wedding menu of the illustrious Team India Captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, seems to have been a super hit with the guests! The Dhoni wedding menu, an interesting combination of Indian, Chinese, Thai and Italian dishes, is said to be the choice of the cricketer’s bride, Sakshi Singh Rawat, a Kolkata(India) based Hotel Management graduate. The menu, comprising 15 different types of snacks and 25 main dishes had the compelling Thai Red Curry, a passion of the bride, as one of the main attractions! I am not surprised to hear that this item, from the sumptuous Dhoni Wedding Menu, had one and all drooling over it. After all, it is one of the dishes strongly favored by the experienced taste buds of a professional foodie!

Fast FoodOverload of calories, fat, and sugar aren’t just the only reasons why you should steer clear of the drive-thru window. According to a research by Chen-Bo Zhong and Sanford E. DeVoe, bingeing on fast food too much and too often can leave you way too impatient. Wonder how? According to recent findings, it has been affirmed that quick service food (fast food) and impatience connection is purely psychological, where even the slightest mention of fast food can turn one edgy.

Breast milk Cheese has been the talk of the town for quite sometime now, with New York based Chef Daniel Angerer’s invention. Though personally, having breast milk cheese is a yucky affair for me, here are some ways in which it is different from dairy milk:

Lipophobia, an insane fear of fat in edibles, is a psychological disease that is catching on the present society, especially the size-zero fanatics. After anorexia nervosa (an insane tendency to starve) and Orthorexia( insane desire to eat only healthy foods), lipophobia is the next psychological condition that people are getting victimized to!

iSandwichThe iSandwich 4G, the sandwich that looks like the iPhone 4G, is the latest sensation of the cyberworld! The creators of the iSandwich 4G,  techies Jakob Hammarback and Jon Wingard, were inspired by all the uproar regarding the yet-to-be-released iPhone4G and Apple Pad and came up with what I’d like to call the iFood. For those who are kinda tired of seeing the same old foodstuff in their lunch boxes day in and day out, the iSandwich 4G will prove to be an interesting change. Even those technology geeks, who breathe electronics 24 X7, will now get a gadget to literally eat ( so what if it is made of bread and not of plastic ???) !  Making the iSandwich 4G is so very easy. Fake Hunger is your worst enemy. Fake hunger is one of the prime reasons why most of us binge on our favorite foods and put on heaps of ugly adipose around our waistlines and hips! Here are the Top 4 Fake Hunger Cues that every person aspiring for a fit and trim body should be aware of:

fake hunger

1)  Most of us feel hungry just a little while after lunch. That’s strange isn’t it? Though logically a full meal should put your stomach to sleep, if you are not eating the right things, it will seem as though it’s asking for more. If you don’t include adequate amounts of carbohydrates, proteins and fiber in your meal, your blood sugar level goes down and you will keep craving for more. Eat some fresh fruit and nuts, celery, cottage cheese, etc.

2) Sometimes your mood makes you feel hungry. Anxiety, depression, fear, excitement and other emotions can really make you experience fake hunger. Just ignore it because your stomach does not really want food. Engage in some interesting activity instead.

3) Thirst is most often mistaken for hunger! Identify thirst and drink water instead.
