Today morning I received a mail from one of my peers on Nestle food products India and it was a revelation extremely unexpected! This is not the issue with Nestle Products being sold all over the world, but in India alone.

Nestle IndaiThe mail had mentioned it clearly that Nestle management has actually admitted to the fact that they sell extremely low quality products here in India and the fact that it also included baby food actually made me go crazy!

Finally, Onam festival is here; to put it plain, it is basically that time of the year when kids are excited and start dreaming about having for them a pair of new dress. Or may be, Oman festival strikes in that time of the year, when you wake up in the morning to see the dew drops still hanging on the leaves and the rarest of rare flowers fully bloomed and ready to be plucked! Last evening Sarah gave me a reason to burst out laughing. She just hastily dropped in at my house after her work and opened up her woe of the day; “Babe, at office my colleague passed on a re-gifted birthday gift to me!!!”, with her face turning red and smoke fuming out of her ears. I found myself dumb, unable to react, but before she could even take leave, she had already filled me in with fear, “the fear of re-gifted Christmas Gifts”!

Make it in 15 minutes or less!

Christmas is here, and like as every year, my craving for desserts has literally gone out of control. But this year, I have somehow made up my mind to let in only the healthy ones, yes a total no to the unhealthy junk foods. But again I would like to keep them simple, yet delicious.

A few trial runs and a few rehearsals have won me what I have been looking for; desserts that are quick and easy to make, yet healthy and decent enough to be dished out to your family, friends and those uninvited and surprise guests who might knock at your door this Christmas night!

So here are two humble ideas; may be you can try them out if you find them impressive. (Or if your delicious desserts run out unexpectedly, these may come handy!)

The count down for Christmas begins and there might be invitations flowing in from your dear ones, friends and relatives asking you and your family to join them for the celebrations. Now, if you have decided to join them or not is a different question, but there’s yet another issue most of you may be concerned about – What can you probably gift them for this Christmas?

Choosing a Christmas gift is an all-time daunting task, it becomes even more difficult when you are gifting it to someone whom you keep so close to your heart. So apart from keeping it special, your gift must be one that will win you beaming smiles, warm hugs and heartfelt thanks! Even I have received a few invites; so here are a few ideas I thought of, may be you can try them too, if you felt them to be worth considering.

Gift 1: Cake’s and cakes are all they want!
