Sassy in the Kitchen

My name is Sarah, and I'm the girl behind Sassy in the Kitchen on http://www.20somethingcupcakes.com. "Sassy" is a nickname I've had since I was a kid—mostly because of my initials (SAS)—and over the years, it's held. Yes, it's true that this word can carry a negative connotation, but I like to think I represent the better half of the definition: Lively, bold, and full of spirit. The life and times of a 20-something. Where do I begin? It's a time of self-discovery. Over the past few years, I've come into my own in ways I'd never imagined possible. I've truly discovered what I'm passionate about, and that is food. I love to cook, but more importantly, I love to share this love of cooking with others. That means I love to feed people, yes—but I also want to inspire. I want to show you that it's not that hard; if I can do it, so can you! What I've really discovered is that I'm passionate about helping others discover and follow their own passions. Whether it's in the kitchen, or not. Be fearless. Enjoy the process. Laugh at (and learn from) the mistakes, revel in the successes. And always remember: "If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong."
