It was back in 1969, when Diana realized something was different about her brain. As usual, she was daydreaming in history class. She stared at a cloud through the third story window of the mansion that was her school when what she would come to call a “Blort” appeared in her head. She felt a jolt of energy that compelled her to draw it. The instant she saw what would become the first of many Blorts, she felt safe, even special, for the first time in a life filled with a need to escape.
