2 medium zucchini cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 (7/8-ounce) package chicken-flavored gravy mix Sliced zucchini (optional)
Directions
Combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until zucchini is tender.
Pour zucchini mixture into container of electric blender; process until smooth.
Combine milk, butter, and gravy mix in a saucepan; cook until thickened.
Stir in zucchini mixture.
Cover and chill.
Garnish with sliced zucchini, if desired.
