Zucchini Hot Tots Recipe

Place slices in a single layer in a 7 by 11inch baking dish.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 3 to 4 minutes or until zucchini gives when gently squeezed.
If any are still firm, remove cooked slices and microwave remaining zucchini on HIGH (100%) for 1 more minute.
Transfer to paper towels and let stand until completely cooled.
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, onions, cheese, pepper, oregano, and garlic powder; blend well.
Spread mayonnaise mixture evenly on each zucchini slice.
Dip tops in bread crumbs, then sprinkle with paprika. (At this point you may cover and refrigerate until next day; bring to room temperature before microwaving.)
Arrange half the zucchini slices in a circle on a flat 10 inch plate.
Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH (100%) for 1 1/2 minutes or until heated through.
Repeat with remaining zucchini slices.
Let stand, uncovered, for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
