Zucchini Casserole Recipe
Cooking up something special is always fun and here's a simple recipe for Zucchini Casserole to double that fun. This Zucchini Casserole is really gonna taste good and will definitely make up a great meal!
Ingredients
| Cheddar Cheese Slices – 1 pack (6 ounces) | ||
| Butter – ¼ cup (4 tablespoons), melted | ||
| Rye Bread Cubes – 3 cups | ||
| Zucchini – 4 cups, thinly sliced | ||
| Onion flakes | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Tomatoes – 3, sliced | ||
| Sweet Pepper Flakes – 2 tablespoons | ||
| Black pepper | 1 Dash | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Using sharp knife, cut the cheese slices into long three slices of equal portions
2) Pour the melted rye over the bread cubes and mix thoroughly
3) Grease a 1 ½ quart casserole and arrange the layers of zucchini, onion, tomato, pepper, cheese and bread cubes
4) Sprinkle in salt and pepper and repeat the layer ending with the bread cubes
5) Cover with a lid and bake for an hour at 350F till the vegetables are tneder
SERVING
6) Serve the dish warm
