Ingredients

 6 medium-sized zucchini
 Bacon1/4 Pound, cut in half
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Garlic powder1/2 Teaspoon
 Mixed herbs1/2 Teaspoon
 2 10-oz. cans regular-strength beef broth plus
 2 cup water, or 2 tsp beef stock base plus
 1 tsp beef bouillon plus
 4 cup water or 4 cup homemade broth

Directions

Wash zucchini, remove ends, and cut into chunks.
Put zucchini and bacon into a pot with the remaining ingredients.
Cook 15-20 minutes, or until zucchini is soft.
Remove bacon.
Whirl soup in blender or food processor with steel blade, or put through a sieve.
Reheat to serve.
