Zucchini Bread - Bread Machine Recipe

Ingredients

 
1/2 cup (120 ml) buttermilk
 
1 tbs (15 ml) oil
 
1/2 cup (120 ml) zucchini, grated
 
2 tbs (30 ml) green onion, chopped
 
1/4 cup (60 ml) red pepper, chopped
 
2 tbs (30 ml) Romano cheese, grated 2 tbs (30 ml) sugar
 
1 tsp (5 ml) salt
 
1/2 tsp (3 ml) lemon pepper
 
1/2 cup (120 ml) oatmeal
 
2 1/2 cups (590 ml) bread flour
 
1 1/2 tsp (8 ml) Active Dry Yeast or Yeast

Directions

Select the yeast that is appropriate for your automatic bread machine.
All ingredients should be at room temperature.
Place ingredients in pan in the order suggested by the machine's manual.

This recipe turned out to be super heavy. I don't know if I did something wrong, but the bread was too greasy and with a strong smell. Perhaps it would be a good idea ti mix the filling only on the final stage, after the dough is ready, right before baking! I also think that the bread should be baked on a regular oven.
