Zippy Frontier Sauce Recipe
The zippy frontier sauce is a lightly cooked sauce made with a medley of seasonings.spiced with chili sauce amd mustard with onion for flavor, the zippy frontier sauce is my favorite choice for using with pork chops.
Ingredients
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons meat sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
Directions
Combine all ingredients; heat.
Brown pork chops in hot fat.
Brush with sauce.
Bake in slow oven (325°)1 1/2 hours.
Baste with sauce several times during baking.
Turn chops once.
Makes pork chops a barbecue specialty.
