Zesty Sauerkraut Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Sauerkraut | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Carrot | 1 , grated | |
| 1/4 cup chopped radishes or celery | ||
| 1/4 cup finely chopped red or green onion | ||
| 1 tsp dill seeds | ||
| Vegetable oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Granulated Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
In sieve, drain sauerkraut and rinse under cold water; drain. In salad bowl, combine sauerkraut, carrot, radishes, onion and dill seeds.
Mix oil with sugar until sugar has dissolved; pour over salad and toss to mix. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
