Zesty Pork Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground pork | 1 pound | |
| 1/2 cup chopped green pepper or canned green chili peppers, rinsed, seeded, and chopped | ||
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Pizza sauce | 1 15 Ounce | |
| Italian seasoning | 1 1/2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| 2 1/2 cups packaged biscuit mix | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Cold water | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Monterey Jack | 1 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
Directions
In a medium skillet cook pork, green pepper or chili peppers, and onion till meat is brown and vegetables are tender.
Drain off fat Stir in pizza sauce and Italian seasoning; set the skillet aside.
In a large mixing bowl stir together biscuit mix and Parmesan cheese.
Add water.
Stir till moistened Pat dough onto bottom and halfway up the sides of a greased 15x10x1-inch baking pan Spoon the pork mixture over dough.
Sprinkle pizza with mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or cheddar cheese.
Bake in a 425° oven for 20 to 25 minutes or till bubbly.
Cut into pieces to serve.
