Zesty Caribbean Chicken Breast Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup CRISCO® Vegetable Oil
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
Directions
Combine Crisco® Oil, lemon peel, lemon juice, paprika, honey, garlic salt, ginger, oregano and hot pepper sauce in shallow baking dish.
Stir well.
Add chicken.
Turn to coat.
Refrigerate 30 minutes or up to 4 hours, turning occasionally.
Heat broiler or prepare grill.
Remove chicken from lemon juice mixture.
Broil or grill 3 to 5 minutes per side or until chicken is no longer pink in center.
