Zesty Butter Beans Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup
1/4 cup water
2 cans (16 ounces each) butter beans, drained
1 can (16 ounces) cut green beans, drained
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
Directions
In saucepan, cook green pepper and onion in butter until tender.
Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer a few minutes to blend flavors.
Stir occasionally.
