Zesty Beef Stew Recipe
The Zesty Beef Stew is simply delicious. This is my children's favorite treat and often the stew is licked clean! They are just too yummy. Try this Zesty Beef Stew recipe for yourself!
Ingredients
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 pounds round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 large onion, sliced
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
Directions
In small dish combine flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Coat meat with flour mixture.
In 2-quart casserole, combine meat, onion, green pepper, catsup and sugar.
Cover with lid.
Cook at MEDIUM 10 minutes and at MEDIUM-LOW 20 to 22 minutes, or until meat is tender.
Stir occasionally.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
Coat meat with flour mixture.
