Zabaglione with Grapes Recipe
Ingredients
| Black grapes | 4 Ounce | |
| 4 oz white grapes | ||
| 2 cups medium dry white wine | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Grated rind of 1 lemon | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Egg yolks | 5 | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Wash the grapes, halve and remove the seeds.
Put all the ingredients except the grapes in the top of a double boiler.
Mix well together and place on the heat.
Beat until the mixture becomes frothy.
Take care not to let the water boil, or the mixture will curdle.
When the mixture begins to get creamy and frothy, remove immediately from the heat and pour into 4 glasses while still hot.
Place the grapes on top of each glass and allow to sink into the zabaglione.
Serve with frosted grapes.
