Ingredients

 
1 1/2 pints strawberries or 1 pint raspberries
 
3 egg yolks
 
3 tablespoons sugar
 
1/4 cup dry or sweet Marsala wine

Directions

1. Arrange strawberries in 4 wine goblets or dessert dishes; set aside.
2. In double boiler over hot, not boiling, water, with portable mixer at high speed or with hand beater, beat egg yolks and sugar until very thick, about 5 minutes. Add Marsala and continue beating until mixture is fluffy and mounds slightly when dropped from a spoon; spoon over strawberries.
