Yum Yum Congealed Salad Recipe
Ingredients
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
1 Ige. can crushed pineapple, drained
Juice of 2 lemons
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1 c. grated American cheese
1 pt. cream, lightly whipped
Directions
Soften gelatin in cold water.
Heat pineapple, lemon juice and sugar.
Add to gelatin; mix well.
Chill until partially congealed.
Fold in mayonnaise, cheese and cream.
Chill until firm.
Cut into squares; serve on lettuce.
