Directions

Beat eggs; add milk, flour, and salt. Beat until smooth. Heat fat or drippings in pan; pour batter over hot fat. Bake 20 to 30 minutes, or until puffed and light brown on tips. Cut into squares and serve at once. For muffin tins: Spoon 1 teaspoon fat in each cup. Divide batter evenly among cups. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until puffed and light brown.
