Yorkshire Sausages Recipe
Ingredients
6 to 8 pork sausages
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup (250 mL) milk
1/2 cup (125 mL) flour
1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
1/4 tsp (1 mL) savory or curry
Paprika
Directions
€¢ Place the sausages in a dish. Cover with hot water (tap water will do). Microwave 5 minutes at HIGH. Drain thoroughly.
€¢ Mix the eggs, milk, flour, salt and savory or curry into a nice smooth batter.
€¢ Set the sausages in a 9-inch (23 cm) microwave-safe pie plate. Cover with the batter. Sprinkle lightly with paprika. If you have a combination microwave-convection oven, place the pie plate on a rack.
€¢ Microwave at 425 °F (220°C) for 20 to 25 minutes or until the pancake is all puffy and the sausages are well browned.
