Yogurt Soup Recipe

This lovely yogurt soup is a light and appetizing soup made with fresh veggies and rasins. Prepared with juicy cucumbers and green onions along with added walnuts, the yogurt soup is flavored with herbs and is a non cooked soup. Best served cold, this light and appealing soup is very good as a starter before meals.

3 cups yogurt
 
2 cucumbers
 
3 green onions (approximately 4 tablespoons)
 
2 sprigs mint
 
2 sprigs basil (1/2 teaspoon dried)
 
2 sprigs savory {1/2 teaspoon dried)
 
1/2 cup raisins
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/4 cup walnuts

Directions

Beat yogurt until smooth.
Chop cucumbers and green onions fine.
Mix all ingredients together; chill.
Can be diluted with milk if desired.
