Ingredients

 1 2- to 3-pound frying chicken, cut into serving pieces
 Ground pepper1 Teaspoon
 Ginger root1/2 Tablespoon, grated
 Butter1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Plain yogurt1 1/2 Pint

Directions

Rub chicken pieces with pepper and ginger.
Cook chicken in 1/2 cup butter over medium heat, turning often, until chicken is browned and tender.
Blend together remaining butter and yogurt.
Spoon over chicken; reduce heat and simmer until sauce is heated through.
