 Buttermilk1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Shortening1/4 Cup (16 tbs)

 Salt2 Teaspoon
 All purpose flour 5 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Dissolve yeast in warm water in large mixer bowl.
Add buttermilk, shortening, sugar, baking powder, salt and 2 1/2 cups of the flour.
Blend on low speed, scraping bowl constantly, 30 seconds.
Beat on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 2 minutes.
Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy to handle.
Turn dough onto well-floured surface; knead 5 minutes.
