Yam Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Prepare your favorite single 9" crust. Bake at 400° for 8 minutes. | ||
| Mix in a blender until smooth | ||
| 2 CUPS PUREED COOKED YAMS | ||
| Tofu | 1 Pound (THE FILLING) | |
| Orange juice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (THE FILLING) | |
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (THE FILLING) | |
| Honey | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (THE FILLING) | |
| 1/4 CUP LIGHT MOLASSES | ||
| Eggs | 2 (THE FILLING) | |
| 1 1/2 TSP. GRATED LEMON RIND | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon (THE FILLING) | |
| Nutmeg | 1/4 Teaspoon (THE FILLING) | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon (THE FILLING) | |
Directions
Turn into the pie shell or a lightly oiled 9" baking dish. Bake at 350° for 35 - 40 minutes or until set. Chill thoroughly.
