Wonton Recipe
The flavor of this Wonton recipe has occupied my mind so much that I almost never consider any other Wonton recipe. I am sure this super delicious Chinese Wonton is gonna bowl you over with its addictive flavor! You can serve Wonton as a yummy Main Dish. No other ingredient will make Wonton taste so awesome than Pork. I am sure you and I will approve that this Wonton is really delicious.
Ingredients
450g wonton skins
450g belly pork, minced
2 tblspn light soy sauce
1 tspn brown sugar
1 tspn salt
350g frozen leaf spinach, thawed sun/flower oil for deep frying soy sauce
Directions
Roll out the wonton skins and cut them into 5 cm/2 inch rounds.
Put the pork, soy sauce, sugar and salt in a bowl and mix well.
Squeeze the spinach in a clean cloth to extract as much liquid as possible, then add to the pork mixture and combine well.
Place a little of the pork and spinach mixture in the centre of each wonton paste round.
Dampen the edges, twist around the filling and press together to seal.
Heat the oil to 180 C/350 F or until a cube of day-old bread browns in 30 seconds.
Deep-fry the wonton in batches for about 5 minutes until golden.
Put the pork, soy sauce, sugar and salt in a bowl and mix well.
