Ingredients

 
Celery-1 1/2 cups, chopped
 
Canned whole kernel corn-2 cups
 
Ripe olives-1/2 cup, minced
 
Green pepper-1/2 cup, minced
 
Salt-1/2 teaspoon
 
Pepper-1/2 teaspoon
 
Butter-1/4 cup
 
Milk-1/2 cup
 
Dry bread crumbs-1/4 cup

Directions

MAKING
1)In a saucepan, cook celery in some water until tender crisp and drain.
2)Take a greased 2-quart casserole, layer corn, celery, olives and green pepper and sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper.
3)Dot with half the butter and pour in milk.
4)Sprinkle crumbs on top and dot with remaining butter.
5)Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

SERVING
6)Serve winter corn pipping hot.
