Winter Warmer Recipe
Ingredients
| Sunflower oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 , peeled | |
| Leeks | 8 Ounce | |
| Swede | 8 Ounce | |
| Broccoli | 8 Ounce | |
| Chestnuts | 4 Ounce, dried | |
| Dried thyme | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
| Tomatoes - 1 tin [14 oz /400 g] | ||
| Tomato puree | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 10 Fluid Ounce | |
| Shoyu | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Black pepper salt | 1 To taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a saucepan, heat the oil, and fry the onion for about 3 minutes at low heat and stir in vegetables.
2. Cook the vegetables for 5 minutes at low heat and then stir in the remaining ingredients and cook at low heat for about 45-60 minutes. (If using cooker then pressure cook the mixture for 15 minutes).
3. Allow the mixture to cool and season it for taste.
SERVING
4. Serve the winter warmer with malty sweet ale.
