Winter Shortcake Recipe
Winter Shortcake is all time kids favorite. Winter Shortcake gets its taste and shape from eggs and cream. You must try it
Ingredients
| Margarine | 4 Ounce | |
| 4 oz. castor sugar whipped cream | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| Self raising flour | 6 Ounce | |
| Fruit salad | ||
Directions
Cream together the margarine and sugar.
Add the egg and sieved flour.
Divide the mixture between two 7 inch lightlv greased and floured sandwich tins.
Flatten the mixture with very slightly damped fingers.
Bake for about 20 minutes at 400°F.€”Gas Mark 5.
Turn out and when cold, sandwich together and decorate with whipped cream and chopped canned fruit salad.
