Winter Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 head frisee lettuce, washed | ||
| 1 carton mustard and cress, washed and trimmed | ||
| 4 small cooked beetroot, sliced | ||
| 4 eggs, size 3, hard-boiled, shelled and quartered | ||
| 1 small fennel bulb, trimmed and finely sliced | ||
| Few parsley sprigs, washed | ||
| Olive oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| White wine vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Break lettuce into small shreds and arrange on a serving platter.
Add cress, beetroot, eggs, fennel and parsley.
Toss gently.
Mix together the oil, vinegar and seasoning.
Pour over salad to serve.
