 Cider vinegar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Vegetable oil1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/2 Teaspoon
 Sauerkraut1 Can (10oz)
 1 medium-size onion, chopped
 1 green pepper, halved, seeded and chopped
 Pimientos2 , chopped
 Garlic salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Celery seeds1 Teaspoon

Directions

1. Combine vinegar, sugar, oil, salt and pepper in saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
2. Turn the sauerkraut into strainer; rinse under running water; drain well. Place sauerkraut in medium-size bowl.
3. Pour hot vinegar mixture over sauerkraut. Add onion, green pepper, pimientos, garlic salt and celery seeds. Toss thoroughly. Allow to cool slightly.
4. Cover and chill 4 hours before serving.
