Wilted Spinach Salad With Oranges Recipe
Ingredients
| Bacon strip | 3 | |
| Vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Dried tarragon | 1/8 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Celery | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 tablespoon sliced green onion | ||
| Spinach leaves package | 1 | |
| 2 medium oranges, sectioned, each section seeded and cut in half | ||
Directions
With scissors, snip bacon into 1-in pieces into 3-qt casserole.
Microwave at High (10) 3 Minutes, until crisp.
With slotted spoon, remove bacon to paper towels to drain.
To drippings in casserole add vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and tarragon.
Microwave at High (10) 2 to 3 Minutes to boil.
Stir in celery and onion.
Gradually add spinach to hot dressing, tossing to coat each piece, just until slightly wilted.
Add orange segments and crisp bacon pieces and toss again lightly.
Serve immediately.
