Wilted Lettuce With Feta Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
| 9 cups torn mixed salad greens | ||
| 3 cups cooked fresh peas, drained | ||
| Feta cheese | 7 1/4 Ounce, crumbled (SALAD) | |
| Seeded tomatoes | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped (SALAD) | |
| Onions | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (SALAD) | |
| 3/4 cup chopped fresh basil or 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves | ||
| Cider vinegar | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) (DRESSING) | |
| 1/4 cup olive oil or walnut oil | ||
| 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper | ||
| Garlic | 3 Clove (5gm), minced (DRESSING) | |
Directions
In very large bowl, combine all salad ingredients; toss gently.
In small skillet, combine all dressing ingredients.
Cook and stir over medium heat until hot.
Pour over salad; toss gently.
