Wilted Lettuce With Feta Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
SALAD
9 cups torn mixed salad greens
3 cups cooked fresh peas, drained
7 1/4 oz. crumbled feta cheese
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped seeded tomatoes
3/4 cup chopped onions
3/4 cup chopped fresh basil or 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
DRESSING
2/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil or walnut oil
1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
3 garlic cloves, minced
Directions
In very large bowl, combine all salad ingredients; toss gently.
In small skillet, combine all dressing ingredients.
Cook and stir over medium heat until hot.
Pour over salad; toss gently.
