 Bacon Slices6 , cut into strips
 1 1/2 pounds dandelion greens, prepared for cooking
 Vinegar1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1/2 Teaspoon
 Salt To Taste

Directions

Cook the bacon in a deep frying pan until crisp.
Drain off all but 3 tablespoons of the fat.
Add the dandelion greens, vinegar, sugar and a little salt.
Mix well.
Cover and simmer until the greens are wilted.
Stir frequently and taste; if necessary, add a little more vinegar to flavor the greens.
