1 Set the freezer compartment of the fridge to the coldest setting.
2 Peel the pears, core and cut them into halves.
3 Prepare stoc syrup: In a pan, bring the water to the boil, stir in the sugar until well dissolved, return to the boil and simmer for 1 minute.
4 Poach the pears in this liquid.
5 Cut the pears and liquidize along with the stock syrup.
6 Stir in the lemon juice along with liqueur.
7 Transfer to a shallow dish and place in the freezer compartment until firm.
8 Serve chilled.
