Wild Rice with Shallots and Green Peppers Recipe
Ingredients
| Wild rice | 225 Gram | |
| Water | 1 Liter | |
| Chicken | 1 | |
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
| Butter | 50 Gram | |
| Shallots | 2 Small, finely chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1/2 Small, chopped | |
| Celery stick | 1 , chopped | |
| Walnuts | 50 Gram, chopped | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste, milled |
Directions
1 Soak the wild rice in water overnight, drain and wash well 2 Put the water, stock cube and salt in a saucepan, bring to the boil and add the rice.
Cook for about 40 minutes until tender.
3 Melt the butter and saute the shallots, green pepper and celery for 3 minutes.
4 Add the walnuts, pepper and wild rice and serve as a dressing for game.
