Wild Violet Jelly Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 cups wild violet blossoms | ||
| Boiling water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1 pkg. powdered pectin | ||
| Sugar | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Pour water over blossoms, cover and let set 24 hours.
Strain liquid; discard spent blossoms.
Add lemon juice and pectin.
Bring to boil.
Add sugar and boil hard 1 1/2 minutes.
Pour into sterilized jelly glasses.
Seal with paraffin.
